Authors who publish in the journal agree to the following terms:
- Authors retain the copyright and grant the journal the right to publish the scientific paper for the first time under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license that allows the use, distribution, and reproduction of the article for any non-commercial purposes, provided that the authorship and a link to the original publication in this journal are given.
- The authors have the right to enter into separate agreements regarding the non-exclusive distribution of the article's published version (for example, its placement in an institutional repository, inclusion in a monograph or collection), provided that there is a link to the original publication.
- Authors may post their work materials (a preprint or postprint) in open Internet resources (for example, in an institute repository, a personal website, or repositories like arxiv.org) before and during the journal's review process because this may lead to a productive discussion and more links to the scientific paper (See The Effect of Open Access).
- Articles may contain figures, tables, or text that the authors have taken or adapted from other publications with permission. To obtain permission to use these materials, you must contact the copyright holders.
- The copyrights to the design, layout, and website belong to the journal. This does not apply to the content created by the authors and related to their articles, i.e. full texts, abstracts, and graphical abstracts, additional materials, etc., which are subject to copyright, as described above.
